We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Quality Assurance Analyst to join our fantastic Quality team. The successful candidate will work as part of a quality assurance team on college quality assurance processes, specialising in High Needs and SEND learner entitlement.

They will measure academic departments in their implementation of EHCPs and Learner Support Agreements, providing an objective view of quality and standards in the classrooms for learners with disabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead audit activity related to student support documents.

  • Monitor and analyse department performance via a range of quality indicators, proactively raising common areas of concern to the Learning and Quality Managers.

  • To support the development of Quality Improvement Plan actions through liaison with academic departments and professional services.

  • Co-ordinate action and improvement processes in response to external reviews.

  • To provide professional support to specified College Committees when requested.

  • To support programme development, and assist curriculum staff when setting LTA and assessment strategies.

  • To monitor and audit the implementation of learner support agreements and EHCPs relating to the operation of core quality processes.

  • To provide accurate and timely information to support academic quality initiatives and responsibilities, in collaboration with the Quality Improvement Analyst and other Quality Analysts and Advocates.

  • Ensure that all records, and student details accessed and quality assured are kept securely, are accessible and up to date.

Education & Training 

  • Level 3 qualification or above in an Education-related field.

  • GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

  • GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

Experience 

  • Experience in working with regulatory frameworks

  • Experience in further education quality processes

  • Experience of working with a wide range of people at different levels within an organisation

  • Evidence of having developed and implemented system/process improvements
